Deputy Commander Officer of MCOU conducted an Event Opportunity (EO) in Tyre (O1), bringing together the school director, teachers, and students for a productive and positive exchange. The visit was warmly welcomed, and participants expressed appreciation for UNIFIL’s continuous efforts in the region. The overall perception of UNIFIL remains very positive, especially among school staff and parents.

Teachers and parents emphasized the importance of UNIFIL’s presence, noting that it contributes to a sense of security and stability within the community. Their feedback reflected confidence in the mission’s role and appreciation for its consistent support over time. The event served to reinforce these positive views and highlighted the value of direct engagement with local institutions.


Notably, there were no visible signs of post-war anxiety among the children. On the contrary, students appeared relaxed, cheerful, and engaged in the activities, indicating a healthy emotional environment. This reflects a broader community sentiment of contentment and optimism about the future an encouraging sign of resilience and recovery.
