Tuesday, 12 August 2025, Force Commander CIMIC Unit XXXI-O/UNIFIL carried out a Key Leader Engagement (KLE) and meeting in Abbasiyah. FCCU had the opportunity to meet with the Mayor of Abbasiyah and hold discussions regarding cooperation and local development needs. The engagement highlighted the importance of direct dialogue in strengthening relationships between UNIFIL and municipal authorities, particularly in supporting community resilience and addressing shared concerns.
